Al–Murtaesha on Pottery

This unique pottery artwork is fully hand-painted with care, then beautifully embellished using multiple layers of genuine gold leaf and fine crystal accents. The entire surface has been varnished to preserve the colors, protect the gold, and give the piece a lasting, polished finish.

The design represents the traditional Bahraini necklace Al–Mortaesha, known for its intricate dangling motifs and timeless beauty. Recreating it on pottery required detailed brushwork, steady craftsmanship, and several stages of work.

More than just décor, this piece carries cultural value and artistry. It adds a sophisticated touch to any room,  bringing heritage into the modern home and reminding us of the charm of old Bahraini jewelry.
